An effective trick that I absolutely love is to go in with two different bronzers. The first bronzer has a cooler undertone to give depth to the face, and the bronzer placed on the top has a warmer undertone to warm up the face. A good product for this is the Makeup Mekka Final Touch Baked Bronzer in the shade Glow. This gives a lovely sun-kissed color and glow to the cheek.
For eyeshadow I love to use a shimmer color of the eyelid and a matte bronzer in the crease if I want to go for a soft and simple look. If you want to do something more out of the eye look I can recommend Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance and Soft Glam Palette, Wet n 'Wild Nude Awakening Palette, and NARS Eyeshadow Quad in Singapore. All of these palettes have a wide variety of eyeshadows in different shades, which is perfect regardless of the type of look you want to do. The NARS palette has only shimmer eyeshadows in it, which are beautiful shades to put on the eyelid.
A red lip is a must when going to a Christmas dinner, whether it is a lipstick or a gloss. An absolutely beautiful red lipstick that I’ve fell in love with, is the MAC Cosmetics Straight Fire Lipstick from their Christmas collection. This is a deep red lipstick with a metallic finish. Another beautiful red is the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in the shade Walkyrie - this is more of a muted color and has a matte finish. When it comes to gloss, NARS Noise Lip Gloss from their Christmas collection is super pretty. It is not sticky and has a soft red color, perfect if you want a soft look. A super nice nude lipstick that I can definitely recommend to those who like more neutral tones is MAC honeylove Lipstick - this is a huge favorite in my collection.
