Say hello to the newest addition in my eyeshadow palette collection! I went through my eyeshadow palettes the other day, and all I could see were neutral toned palettes with a few colorful eyeshadows in them. I guess you could say my collection where heavily lacking of colors. I’ve been having an eye on the new Morphe X James Charles Palette, but the price is high, which will make it expensive to import to Norway – plus it’s always sold out. Browsing YouTube and different blogs, I found that the Morphe 35B Palette was a good option for a colorful palette. Unfortunately this palette is getting discontinued and therefore is hard to get, but luckily I found it in stock at Lookfantastic before it got sold out.
Morphe 35B Color Burst is a shimmer and matte eyeshadow palette with the many shades of the rainbow. The palette came in their new upgraded packaging with a sheet of names to each shade, which feels sturdy and of quality. The palette has a great range of color combinations, and the different creative looks you can create with this palette is almost endless. The eyeshadows feel creamy and soft, and the pigmentation seems good and buildable from the swatches I’ve made. This is a pure color palette, so there is a lack of brown tones that could be used as transition shades if you’d want to do more of a subtle look.
I’m really excited to get creative and play with this palette. With valentines day coming up, I feel like creating a pink eye-look for my first look with the palette. Look forward to seeing more creative and colorful makeup looks on my Instagram in the future.
